aside from bandom, i generally read in sherlock and harry potter, though i'll read the occasional supernatural fic (i watch the show) when my roommate wants me to (no wincest, though), and i've even read a couple of merlin stories (i don't watch that one) when she's pushed them at me. hopefully i can rec some things for you, if you're interested in any of those fandoms.
anything and everything by saras_girl and earlgreytea68 is worth reading. even (and sometimes especially) the ones about sports, even though i hate sports.
my personal favorites of earlgreytea68's are saving sherlock holmes, which is a school boy au, nature & nurture, which is a seriously fluffy kidfic, and the letters series, which is impossibly romantic, but definitely one you'd have to watch the show first to have it make sense. all are pretty long and are sherlock/john. I have no help in fandoms. There's a lot of great h/c in Captain American fandom, if that's your thing. I've read some good stuff there. None of which I can think of because I have the brain of a fig.
I would be happy to do writing sprints and stuff with you if we're in the same computer space at the same time. Damn time zones. I'm not good at hounding people every day (obviously), but I am good at being on the internet!
