Omg, yes! I went in knowing that Steve/Tony and Thor/Loki were big pairings and I came out wanting to read all about Tony and Bruce Banner. Possible fucking, I mean, I AM me, but BFFs would be good too!!
Also agree that the movie had a "Motherfucking Joss Whedon! \o/" feel without the "Motherfucking Joss Whedon /o\" elements in it.
In short: ready to see it again and read ALL THE STORIES.
I agree with all of everything and I need a movie about Budapest. I mean, I would like a Black Widow movie either way, but I want Hawkeye being there and being quietly in love with her and being the reluctant-villain-authority-hating snarky fucker he is. With Coulson. There has to be at least a dash of Coulson.
Also, Ruffalo as Hulk wiped the floor with the two previous versions, IMHO. He did more to make me care about the character in a goddamn ensemble movie than either of the others had.
Also, Thor and Loki spent a lot of time talking meaningfully while staring into each others' eyes and grasping the backs of each others necks. Just saying.
