So, buying a house: can't say I recommend it! That's the main reason for my recent absence from the internet and, you know, sanity. I strongly agree with your point. I thought, they might have been so afraid of failure in a way (with the not produced 'pure-rock' album)that they thought they literally HAD to do s.th. great again...

I do not think they did copy it, but maybe they were listening to those bands while writing NANANA...
Hope, the media doesn't make a big deal outta ittt...especially after Gerard was already accused to have stolen his comic several yrs ago (which I think is bullshit of course)...
But here, you can truly listen to the similarities (!)...

One of the things I honestly love about MCR is that they have clearly drunk their own kool-aid, and are not afraid to show it, lol.

I thought exactly the same thing! From the beginning of Danger Days I had the feeling that HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF, just in a different way...Nice to hear that there are still fans who question the bands way of portraying themselves sometimes, you know ?

Don't get me wrong... I love itttt !!! - But I def. think, Gerard is a bit naive (which I love about him equally as I think it is dangerous ;)

From the promo-pics to their inner battles... History seems to repeat itself, just different, like an Alter Ego itself...if that makes sense... He even DRINKS occasionally again...
