I watched 9 hours of Heroes last night, and am primed to watch at least four more hours today. I really can't tell you how much I love being able to marathon a show, especially one that I am not entirely invested in. When you're watching a show on DVD, it's fine if you hit an episode that didn't impress you - you just move on to the next one. I

God, the gender (and race) issues on Heroes. Just thinking about it makes me rage-y. :( But I totally understand your fascination with Sylar (and Quinto). He's such an amazing character and he really made season 1 work for me.

the whole show has tons and TONS of issues, but i've been watching since season 1 and keep watching for three characters: peter petrelli, matt parkman and, of course, sylar.

you'll see more and more of sylar as the show progresses, and even when the script is poorly written, just seeing him is thrilling. it maybe helps that he's beautiful.

unfortunately, the show keeps going further downhill, and i sometimes find even my affection for my three favorite characters wavering. *sigh* i hope next season gets better...
