I've been watching the second season of Supernatural and I'm realizing I don't actually remember as much about the events of the first season as I thought I did, so I need to watch it again. I'm sure it will be even more enjoyable this time around, because I'm now fully invested in the Winchester boys and their family angst and their demon-y

Heee! I kinda love 'The End of the World' a lot, even though it's not really happy, like you say.

I quite love that episode myself :). It's uplifting not because of the end of the world, but what the implicit message ends up being: in the future there will be sexy tree women and crazy people who are just strips of skin. And you think, 'the world may be end but it will still be one wild ride to the end.'
