"I thought it was a metaphor, sir."

It is an episode which plays on the Mexican tradition of Dia de los Muertos (All Saints Day with a twist). It is an episode which annoys for its incongruity. Most people assume it was already thought of in preperation for Ivanova as captain, and in fan fic world its either her mother or Marcus who comes back. And I've always thought it was originally set up to be a final confrontation between her and Marcus--or for her mother to tell her to embrace her telepathness. Keep in mind that Lyta is playing out a storyline originally set up for Ivanova.

Instead it becomes character building for Lochley who JMS hadn't really conceptualized prior to CC's leaving the show. Alas.

The woman who visits Garabaldi was originally in the episode GROPOS, and I think it made sense. But wouldn't it have been interesting if it had been Sinclair?

When you see Lennir's betrayal it will make sense--however the question is not does he help the shadows but rather "What do you Want?"

All will become clear, but only when the time is right!
