Shoe Money

You know how, when you stand in front of a mirror before going out, and you think, "I look good"? Today, I looked in the mirror and "Shoe money tonight!" popped into my head which, ok. I don't know where that came from, but, yeah, apparently, shoe money!

Yes, the monkey! Janeway said something about having time to tame it and Chakotay's expression was just - that look. I've given in and ordered the first season of Voyager from the library, because I'm curious now.

There's something about pomegranate martini's that seem to go perfectly with science fiction. I love how you describe the "moments" in shows. It's like a hug just a fraction long enough that it should have been a kiss, and you both know that, but you're on a street corner in the middle of town and too cowardly to hold on for a moment longer. It's torture, but beautiful, beautiful torture. Luckily in real life you just call your best friend, she tells you to quit tormenting yourself and ask the question. Of course, I've never been trapped on a deserted planet--that might be different.

You know that you have a best friend who really understands you when you get a card in the mail with advice that she thinks Delenn would give you if she knew you.

Well it's important to ask "What would Delenn do?" in tricky situations. The only answer to "What would kjabernathy do?" is 'think too much'. And that's rarely the answer.
