So, I heard a rumor that there's an interesting deleted scene from Smashed in the sixth season of Buffy, but that it's not on the DVDs. Have you heard about this? Do you know where I could find it?

i've heard such things, too. best info found floating around about it was here -- a description of the lost scent. also, i may or may not have come into possession of ::cough::some dvds of season 6 buffy dailies::cough:: for christmas, which might contain the pertinent info. i'll keep you posted :)

I don't know about a lost *scene*, exactly, but there is a mildly extended version of the ending of Smashed which is rather more porny than, well, network television. I have it somewhere, probably as an .avi file. I think it's on my eternal hard drive, though, so I'd have to go find it. Which I'm happy to do, but only if it *is* what you're looking for.

If it isn't, and if there's another deleted scene, do let me know if you find it. I'm now very intrigued.

I don't have all that many details. Someone at work was talking about it, and so I assumed it was a deleted scene, but it could also be the thing you have. Would you mind looking it up for me? I'd love to see it.
