I watched the Psychopathic Lesbian Lana Lover episode of Smallville tonight on wholesome ABC Family, and it only made me sad, because the premise is so teribbly screwed up. The only way Tina can be with Lana, her obsession, is to pretend to be Lana's dead boyfriend, to pretend to be Clark, and even to pretend to be Chloe, sniffing Lana post-shower

the random literature quoting! that part was, uh, very interesting. especially when she starts rendering them in strange ways just in case you didn't REALIZE that orlando was quoting shakespeare in his courting of viggo.

It's the Donne that's over the top for me, because I simply can't imagine anyone quoting The Flea as flirtation. Even a very horny, overly smart teenage boy. It's - well, apparently, it's part of the story's charm, because I can't stop reading.
