We are going to the pediatrician's office first thing tomorrow. E still does not have a fever, but he is coughing SO MUCH, I am worried that he may have pnumonia. Please tell me I am crazy.

Jen~ I hope he does NOT have pneumonia. With all the stuff that Z has been through, I always say it's way better to be safe than sorry. Zach had a Staph infection and it doesn't have any real symptoms (except the ones we didn't realize). That didn't get better and it turned into pneumonia. Not sure how to they treat that, but if you DO have to take E to the hospital and if you have a choice, take him to St. Joesph's. They have THE BEST pediatric doctors and the nurses are WONDERFUL, hands down. Please, just breathe and let us know what the doc says this morning. I know how crazy it can make you feel. Please call me if you need to talk!

My kids have been sick before...my daughter was first sick at 4 weeks and if it's an infection, the medicine can help dramatically.

I know it's so hard to see a little baby sick though.

I came here to see what all the hoopla was about! (don't think I ever said the word hoopla before! lol) So, how did it turn out at the doctor?

Probably just a little cold or flu. It always seems worse when the little babies get the cough and stuffy nose. Good for going to doc...always good to know what is going on. Please keep us posted!
