A new year - new borderline-worrying UNIT dating spam! :D

As you will recall, in previous posts trying to make sense of the fearsomely complex UNIT Dating Conundrum it was established that:

Remembrance of the Daleks and An Unearthly Child definitely both took place in the fourth quarter of 1963.

July the 20th, 1966 was a really busy day for Read more... )

c. From which I think we can place Spearhead…hang on, what did you just say, Brigadier?

BRIGADIER: Since UNIT was formed, there've been two attempts to invade this planet.

What?

BRIGADIER: Since UNIT was formed, there've been two attempts to invade this planet.

So that’s The Invasion and Web, then...although…waitaminute…

UNIT didn’t exist yet at the time of Web - you were still with the Royal Scots Whatisnames wearing that sexy, sexy hat!

There’s a missing UNIT story!!

^ that right there is the best thing I've read all year! Literally! xD

I love how you tie up the flailing loose ends of the Whoniverse. You should try packaging all of these posts up into a book when you're through. No clue what the channels would be for that, but I'd buy a copy and I'm sure I'm not the only nerd out there who would.

Must say though... I was a bit shocked that you mentioned season 6b without clarifying which season 6b you meant. There are two of them after all (to my endless mirth)

Glad to have amused you :D although there possibly hasn't been much competition so far this year.

I'm not sure I'm breaking any new ground that hasn't been trodden before here (I can't recall seeing any references to the missing UNIT story anywhere, but I can't be the only one who's noticed the implications of the Brig's pronouncement), but I'm still glad for your note of confidence. And who knows - I know there are lots of people out there who seem to enjoy reading non-fictional musings on Who.

Well yes, of course - as pointed out to me on Dreamwidth, there are actually three if you count the weird 60s Two comic strips allegedly set during his exile to Earth but before his regeneration into Three, along with the other one, of course. You know, the other one. ;D

Two and Jamie could look older because they had space flu. When I was ill my hair grew back wavy. As for the rest.... *head explodes*

I very much want to see how you sort "1980" out *g(evil)*

Some sort of space flu, or indeed a time leak of some sort like whatever happened to Five in Time Crash definitely can't be ruled out. ;) But yes, thinking too hard about this stuff probably doesn't do the old brain much good...

"1980" of course is an issue, and still something of a mystery, but I think it can be conclusively proven that whatever she may say Sarah Jane is not from 1980 at the time of Pyramids of Mars. Watch this space! :D

I'm pretty impressed! :)

I'm afraid I don't have anything clever to add because I am stupid. It is known. :(
