So, er, I was trying to write one fic and ended up writing a completely different one instead. By accident. Don't tell me that has never happened to any of you.

Left one gushing review on the fic. Am putting my more discussion-y type questions and comments here. I was intrigued by how Vastra spoke of the Eastern groups of Silurians and it made me think of how the show, unintentionally, has created an incredibly rich Silurian background over the years with all of these very different Silurian cultures co-existing; the warrior female groups, the sea-dwelling branches, the original three-eyed type...

Since you mentioned the Silurians being cold-blooded and the dinosaurs being warm-blooded, are you going with the idea that the Silurians ancestors originated separately, and are possibly pre-Permian in origin? (Believe it or not, I've been asked something very similar to this at work about the Silurians, which led to a really fun discussion after the bit where I clarified that 'these guys are fictional you do realize
