Just to Let You Know...

I should perhaps have said earlier, but starting from tomorrow I'm going to be travelling quite a bit for work-related reasons for most of April and possibly May-June too, although that's subject to change. During this period, I should be back home and online at weekends and on odd week-days as well, but if it looks like I'm not keeping up with ( Read more... )

I'd like to think it will be something imaginative and clever, but I'm 99% convinced the woman in the shop will have turned out to be Rose.

Also, tangentially, saw an interview with the new head of the BBC today, and he was talking about how he was a fan of Doctor Who when he was a kid, and loves how its back and is this huge thing around the world. So Who may have finally gotten an ally at the top. I feel much less pessimistic about its survival chances next year. :)

He seemed to be talking quite a lot of sense. So yeah, I expect he'll be gone within 12 months. :)

It has been okay so far. Halifax (West Yorks, not Nova Scotia) is not like I expected - quite a quaint little town, really. I may take some photos at some point and include them in the 100 Things meme...when I get back to it...

It's as good a guess as any at this point, and one I certainly wouldn't say no to. The only thing going against it from my point of view is the extreme unlikelihood of prising the luminous Carey Mulligan away from her Hollywood career for a reappearance in Who. If only, though, eh?

Look who's going up in the world. ;D
