Two words:
Disposable dailies.
SOOOO superior for larping than cleaner type lenses.
Of course, if you want funky radical eye changing lenses, like Kia's blackouts, they don't make most of those patterns in disposables, nor are they cheap when they do. But regular color changers and so on come in the dailies and are cheap enough that if your eyes bug you and you need a break mid day, putting another set in for the night run isn't too painful.

That actually is what I have, though they did give me a case/some liquid stuff in case I want to take them out and then put them back in.
I do eventually want to get regular color-changing ones for one of my PCs, but first I'm going to see how these normal ones work out before making any sort of investment in wierder ones.

Makes sense! And it's worth shopping around for the best of the color changers - I tried a change to green-blue at one point and it was far too wussy a brand for my dark eyes. Can't remember if you have naturally light color or not, which helps. More funky lenses are definitely on the "if I were a rich woman" list...
and failed at arriving in time to actually help with moving
Considering the moving took about 12 minutes from start to finish, this is in no way a bad thing. Especially since you shouldn't be putting extra weight on your ankle when you don't have to. You were there for the good part... the hanging out and the tortilla chips. :)
And now, after two relaxing weekends of fun hanging out and good food and movies, it's time to get our larper hats back on.

I didn't realize it was quite that fast. OK, not feeling so guilty now.
And I've really been good about my ankle. I've been staying off it as much as I can and been walking normally and carefully. It's getting better. I definitely have it to the point where it's only moderately a bad idea to go run a larp...

My eyes on their own are a dark brown, so I'm going to need something pretty solid to do anything more than give me a faint tinge of non-brown color.
