Raistlin! *squee* I've only read one Dragonlance book so far (I gave myself a ban on new books until I've made space in my bookcase) but I loooove the guy.
'L'Avamposto di Mussolini nel Reich di Hitler' sounds like an interesting read! Hetalia research or just general history geeking? ;)
Raistlin is a simply irresistable chara, isn't he? Which it's fun on a fashion because he's not the most handsome but... but he's the best anyway! ^_____________^
Dragonlance is a series of book worth being read... although it's so long it's really great! Always from the same authors but mercifully more shots and yet very good are the thrilogies Darksword and Rose of the Prophet.
Yep, it is. You get all those interesting background info you don't find in the other books. Both... though history book tend to destroy one of my fave APH pairing... ;_;
Thank you for the recommendations! Trilogies seem a bit friendlier towards my already overcrowded bookcase than the huuuue Dragonlance series. Although... maybe I can get it at my public library? I'll have to check that!
Interesting background info, yum! I've bookmarked "L'avamposto" at Amazon in the hope it'll be translated. I've never been interested in WW2-era history, but I'm fascinated by international politics, so this book sounds exciting. I once tried learning Italian and I can still understand a few words in simple sentences. But the only thing an Italian history book would be good for is to sit around looking pretty and make people think I speak Italian! ^___^
Hmmm... Now I wonder about this favorite pairing! First guess would be Germany/Italy, considering the subject, but I know you love Prussia, so it might be something with Prussia?
Good luck with finding them! Yes, Dragonlance has really too many books... -_- Although I love them it's really hard to get them all (also the one who aren't written by Margareth Weiss aren't that good in my humble opinion... -_
