Seishiro leaves very little doubt that he's possessive of Subaru! I think this is a lovely chapter and I enjoy the way Seishiro's slowly getting that Subaru means more to him than being a piece of property. I'm happy you updated this fic!

Seishiro gives new meaning at the word 'possessive'. Most of his world circles around keeping Subaru solely for himself... -_-
But yes, now their relationship is improving and getting a bit more healthy... and this is making Seishiro grow up a bit! ^__________^

Well, he spent most of his life being the one who babysat Subaru... to him his declaration was similar to the one a kid would do to his mother. He doesn't think he needs protection from Subaru, he's sure HE is the one who'll do the protection. His way to handle Subaru is still to cuddle and coddle him and he isn't used yet at having Subaru deciding he'll do things like going to face Fuma to make sure Fuma won't hurt him.
He won't like to learn this lesson...

You're right, sadly Subaru's ideas are never something Seishiro would be happy about. Expecially when Subaru goes into protective mode...
... I've honestly never though to do it. LJ would never allow me to post such a huge thing. But if someone is interested I might collect all the chapter in a word document...

This depth-of-Subaru's-Wish thing has me worried... I hope his Wish isn't to die keeping Sei from harm! O_O I'm also still looking forward to seeing Subaru's kekkai in the near future, which I seem to remember you saying something about getting to see it before chapter 40... *whee*

Subaru's huge lack of self apprecciation sure doesn't help him to make the smartest Wishes.
You'll see Subaru's star shaped Kekkai in chap 37 so we're almost there.

Some people have two journals so I friended both and some journals have sadly become inactive but I'm still hoping their owners will show up again one day. The remaining ones are all journals of very nice people so it's a pleasure to keep track of them!
