Another attempt of mine to make an opening in a
MAD Movie style... and an ending too... for my so much wished and never existed ipotetical 'Tokyo Babylon 1999' anime. MAD Movie designates video done solely by Japanese so I labelled this simply a Alternate Theme...
The song I used for the opening is the theme from 'Higurashi no Naku Koro ni', '

I second your wish for a TB-1999 anime (though I admit I'd also be happy if somebody would do subtitles for the movie there is...)

^___________^ I admit I would content myself with a TB anime if the TB1999 is really not possible (I guess for it we should need 'X' to end... -_-) and I would love if someone would translate the TB1999 movie... and since I'm a greedy girl I would also like for people to translate the drama cd included in the second TB OAV, the one included in the TB+comic volume (yes, it's a drama version of the first volume but it's expanded and I want to know what the extra pieces say!) and I won't mind for a translation for the first TB story on Shoten... I'm very greedy, aren't I? ^_-
And Fuma's never around when you need him... -_-

Probably you're right but if we were to ask Yuko's help we'll never end paying for them...

But there's one thing that stings me. I think that you tend to overuse some particular scenes in your mads. Well, that's my opinion.
And I second that someone should translate TB-1999. It would be wonderful!
I've got a summary of life action film with plenty of dialogues written someewhere... Too lazy to find them or re-write as subtitles.
Fuuma's still standing above Kamui with his Sacred Sword, waiting for Clamp to move their asses and finish X.

It's due to lack of material mostly. There's not much footage, I have even less without subtitles and not all of it would fit.
As of now I can only rely on Windows Movie Maker to make them, which means I can't really change them that much adding them cool special effects like you can do with professional video editor.
Which is why I so long for a TB anime... or even better for a TB1999 anime...
*nods*
Oh? If you ever find it please post it in some TB or X community for us poor fans to see...
... I'm losing hope about this...

I still wonder if it's possible to erease subtitles in the version of Xtv I posses...
On WMM? Oh my gosh. Well, now I'm proud of you. It's rather creepy thing to do amvs on. I really want to recommend you SonyVegas Pro. Well, the licence registration is free.
This translation was on LJ about... 4 years ago? O^O;
I've lost my hopes towards Clamp after they announced continuation of Clover. ;^;
Now we have to wait for X. But new chaps of TRC are realised freely... *sighs and facepalms self*

I've been told thata decent editor can do it... but WMM definitely doesn't have taht option...
I've been told SonyVegas wasn't free...
Once upon a time I was used to work with Ulead Movie Editor... which wasn't bad... but my UME version is ancient and refuses to work with modern codecs... no idea why...
I've seen a summary long ago... but it wasn't that detailed... or mabe I'm just too greedy... :P
CLOVER! ;_; Why CLAMP, why?
But, after all, CLAMP have a record for unfinished series... Hagunsei Senki (4 chapters), Shin Shunkaden (1 Vol), CLAMP Gakuen Tantei Dan (3 volumes), Gohou Drug (3 volumes), Clover (4 volumes), X (18 volumes + 5 chapters)...
I'm hoping they at least will give a decent ending to Subaru, Kamui, Fuma and Seishiro in TRC...

I also wish that Tokyo Babylon and/or TB1999 would be turned into an anime.
