It´s a brand new day

JJ had been busy this morning. He had dressed in his new leatherjacket, shirt and jeans to go to the store, he had purchased a few pillows with a fake credit card that identified him as Camillo Tarocci and had walked to Axel´s treehouse.
The pillows were stuffed in an enormous bag what had once been labeled as

James had to wait a while and it wasn't Axel who he saw first but Prank who hopped through the open elevator slot and proudly marched over to him showing off her new collar and demanding to be petted. Axel entered a moment later balancing a bag of cat food in his arms along with three books on cats, kittens, and the health and raising there of.

"Hey Prank wait for... James?" Blinking through the new mask, and the hair perpetually falling in his eyes Axel nervously face the elder Trickster.

JJ whistles through his teeth.
"Nice threads. I trust I´m seeing Gambi´s work here?"
He sets the bag down to pet Prank.
"And she got a new collar, too. Nice make over. Very ....you," he says.
It´s less me, he thinks, good sign.

"I got you a few pillows....you can´t have too many clean ones left."

And his hands are itching. He can´t wait until Axel comes close enough for a hair tax!

"Yeah, I swung by before the vet." He doesn't want to elaborate much but he can't resist adding. "Yeah well, I just got rid of the stripes no big."

Axel peers at the pillows walking closer pleased with the gift but... "I should be thanking you - not the other way around." Axel scuffs his shoe across the floor. "Thanks. Is Piper okay after he ran off?"

JJ´s big smile just says "Don´t worry."

"Trickster´s don´t keep score, Axel - I haven´t spoken to Piper yet. I guess that he´s a little spooked - but who can blame him? Think he got the Rogues flu, though."

"What do you think? I guess Prank is curious what´s in the bag."
And indeed - the cat is trying to peer into the enormous bag.
"It´s just pillows, Prank, get your head out of there!" he laughs.
