Amongst Queen Mary's (as in THE Mary, Queen of Scots) entourage there was a French dwarf named Jane.

Hey.. dwarves were very popular at the time to be in company of your royalty- it's so they could always feel superior. No joke. And, well, coming from France as she did... it was probably her nurse.
