Very very cool. My two nephews who live in Albany and are devout baseball fans would eat this kind of thing up.

it was so random! we were walking back to the car and all of a sudden we see this square plaque on the ground.. it was second base! then we walked more and saw the pitcher plate, and then this home plate!

it was so eerie as all of a sudden it felt like we were standing in the middle of the ghost of stadium past - right in the middle of the field!

Wow.. the old home plate was made of brass? That must have hurt when sliding into home!

So exactly where were these bases? In the parking lot? Where were you walking back to your car from?

indeed, twas in the lot, we were quite startled to see the trio there and it was very surreal walking right over a piece of history
