dude, it take me like 3 minutes to scroll down to comment :D
i remember those 3 stories being a cartoon...
i also remember making Babe The Blue Ox Pancakes out of a kids' cookbook (blueberry pancakes).

oh weird, i think it's the css layout cause the post next to the tag cloud seems to get stretched, then gets normal as it moves down the page
actually i wish i had time/ability to make a better layout for myself here
maybe you make us blueberry pancakes sometime :B
