I think the fact that you focused it on the petals instead makes all the difference in the world. ♥ It's beautiful, I don't think it's morbid at all either.

I like to think that it changes the story of the photo; instead of it being a typical photo of a flower, you're drawn to the petals & the idea of it being different than what everyone is accustomed to. LOL I hope that makes sense, hahahaha.
