No Hitter...Almost

I went to the A's vs Red Sox game today with my boss. We almost experienced a perfect game by Curt Schilling. He came within one out of throwing a no-hitter.

Well... he really wasn't close to a perfect game as to a no-no (we were watching it at the office as well).

but, how awesome would that have been though! I've see a lot of great sports events, but I've never seen a no-hitter live.

There was a lot of excitement in the stadium in the very last inning. How goes it my friend?

i was listening to that game on the road and right when the annoucner started talking about this being Schilling's no-hitter game ... the ball was hit. haha.

The damn announcers always do that. They make a comment and something bad happens.
