Title: Superstition
For
reverokameorih Eunhyuk’s parents are into believing superstitions so
Eunhyuk has a lot of superstitions stuck in his head. He doesn’t really believe in most of it but because he grew up with it, he became accustomed to it.
To drop a fork means a man is coming to visit.
How would this superstition be applied in Eunhyuk’s life when he only use chopsticks when eating? One summer, his parents decided that they should have a family vacation in America. Over there, Eunhyuk learned how to use the spoon and fork. He was eating spaghetti by using the fork. Somehow, the fork slipped from his hand and landed on the floor. When Eunhyuk picked up the fork, the doorbell rang.
“Good morning! My name is Sungmin. I live next door. I’m here to deliver an apple pie from my Uncle Eeteuk to your Uncle Kangin. I‘m assuming that you’re uncle Kangin‘s nephew.” Sungmin said as he handed the pie to Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk took his time to observe Sungmin, who was wearing a pink shirt with a cute bunny print.
Kangin is Eunhyuk’s uncle. Eunhyuk’s family is staying at Kangin’s house for their entire vacation in America. “Yeah, my name is Eunhyuk. My family will be staying here with Uncle Kangin for two weeks.” Eunhyuk accepted the pie.
Friday the thirteenth is an unlucky day
The only reason that he thought that Friday the thirteenth is such an unlucky day is because it is the day he leaves America and goes back to Korea. Eunhyuk’s vacation for two weeks was finally over. During the span of two weeks, he got to know Sungmin better and they spent a lot of time together. He didn’t want to part ways with his new friend yet. Tickets to America is quite expensive so who knows when they’ll be able to see each other again?
“Time flies fast, Eunhyuk. I’m sure we’ll see each other again sooner than you think.” Sungmin said. He went with Eunhyuk’s family to the airport to see their departure. “I’ll miss you.” He hugged his new friend.
If an eyelash falls out, put it on the back of the hand, make a wish and throw it over your shoulder. If it flies off the hand the wish will be granted.
Eunhyuk took one last look of himself in front of the mirror before going off to school. He saw that there was an eyelash on his cheek. He remembered the superstition about an eyelash. He decided to do it. There’s really nothing to lose. He wish he would be in contact with Sungmin today. It doesn’t matter if it’s going to be a chat with web came, a phone call, a letter in the mail box or an email in the computer. He threw the eyelash and looked at his hand without the eyelash.
“How was your summer vacation?” The teacher asked the class. “Are you happy to see your classmates again? Today, you’re going to have a new classmate.” The new classmate walked inside the classroom and introduced himself. “Good morning! My name is Sungmin. I’m a transfer student from America. I hope we will all get along and have a blast this school year.”
The girls giggled and blush over the new student’s cuteness. Some guys also became attracted to Sungmin and wished that he was a girl instead. Eunhyuk simply stared in shock. It was really more than what he had wished for.
“There’s an empty seat next to Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk, raise your hand so Sungmin will recognize you.” The teacher said.
“No need. I know him.” Sungmin said as he moved towards his seat. “I told you we’ll see each other sooner than you think.” He winked at Eunhyuk.
If your nose itches, it is a sign you will be kissed, cussed, or vexed.
Eunhyuk scratched his nose as it suddenly felt itchy while he tried to think of an answer for the math problem on his assignment.
“You’re cute.”
Eunhyuk looked at his side to see that Sungmin was staring intently at him. They were doing homework together at his house. “You’re the cute one.” He replied.
“I know but you have your cute moments too.” Sungmin leaned in and placed a kiss on Eunhyuk’s cheek. Eunhyuk can’t help but notice how Sungmin was being affectionate to him lately.
A formula for daisy petals:
He loves me,
He don't;
He'll have me,
He won't;
He would if he could,
But he can't.
Eunhyuk was bored at school without Sungmin because the cute boy was sick and had to stay at home. He randomly picked up a daisy from his school’s flower garden and started pulling out the petals one by one. He eventually ended up with He’ll have me.
He immediately picked up his cell phone when it rang. “I don’t have any appetite but I don’t mind having you for lunch.”
“I don’t taste good.“
“We’ll just have to see about that.“
Eunhyuk decided to spend lunch at Sungmin’s house during the weekend. Once he got there, he saw Sungmin cooking in the kitchen. “Eunhyuk, can you tie my apron properly? It seems to have loosen up while I was cooking.”
Eunhyuk was instantly behind Sungmin’s back and tying the pink apron properly. “You know there’s a saying If your apron string becomes loosened, your true love is thinking of you. “
“Then I hope you were thinking of me.”
“I was.”

Bonus: Eunhyuk/Heechul
If you wash a cat at night, it will rain.
“Eunhyuk, can you wash Heebum for me? I still have some work to do so I don’t have the time.” Heechul said as he passed Heebum to Eunhyuk.
“But it’s night.” Eunhyuk replied as he received Heebum in his arms. “There’s a saying that it will rain if you wash a cat at night.”
“That’s just some lame excuse for someone who doesn’t want to wash the cat. When I come back home and Heebum is not clean yet, I’m gonna kick your ass out of this dorm.” Heechul threatened.
“What do I get if Heebum is clean when you get back?”
“A shower with me. I’ll show you how much of a better shower partner I am than Sungmin.”
