Chapter 2
Yesung doesn’t have any idea why he announced that Ryeowook is his boyfriend
in front of everybody simply because some of the girls were picking a fight with Ryeowook. But one thing is for sure, the idea of Ryeowook as his boyfriend doesn’t disgust him.
The shock expression on Ryeowook’s face turned into a mischievous look. He smiled and hugged Yesung. “You finally announced out relationship to the public. You have no idea how much you made me happy.” He kissed Yesung’s cheek.
It was Yesung’s turn to be shock of what Ryeowook said and done but the act must go on. “Let’s go somewhere else private. I want to have you for lunch.” He winked and dragged Ryeowook out of the cafeteria. This caused the people to be more shock and a blooming blush to others.
The fake couple ran to the school’s backyard. There was a certain empty spot, which Yesung knew of. He practically knows all the hiding, empty and quiet places in the vicinity of the school. When they reached that spot, they tried to catch their breath. It was a hard thing to do because they were also laughing hard.
“Did you see their shock faces? It’s so funny!!! Hahaha! I can’t believe they fell for that.” Ryeowook clutched his stomach while laughing. Some tears of joy were forming at the side of his eyes.
After a few minutes, they finally calmed down. They sat right beside each other while their backs leaned on the large tree. “I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.” Yesung said as he looked at Ryeowook. He waited for Ryeowook to look back at him before saying. “I miss you.”
Ryeowook remembered the last note. He actually felt something from the note but to actually hear it from the person who wrote it, feels completely different and more personal. “Is that why you went to the cafeteria? To look for me? I know you don’t usually eat there since you really like to be alone during your free time.”
Yesung nodded. “I’m used to being lonely and I like being alone but last week has been different. We were together and though you were not nice or friendly towards me, I enjoyed your company.”
“So I’m some kind of an entertainer to you now?” Ryeowook raised an eyebrow.
Yesung shook his head sideways. “I didn’t mean it that way. I just…um…” He was finding it hard to form the right words of how he felt. “…uh…”. He cursed underneath his breath. He doesn’t usually run out of words or stutter. That’s just not him.
“You must be mentally retarded or something because I really don’t see any reason for you to enjoy my company last week or any reason for you to actually miss me right now. Like you said, I wasn’t exactly nice or friendly to you.” Ryeowook pointed out. “Anyway, you just ruined my lunch so you better think of some way to make up for it.”
“Why are you suddenly being so mean?” Yesung pouted. “I don’t see any reason for liking you either but I do anyway.” He pulled out 2 lunchboxes from his bag and handed one lunchbox to Ryeowook before starting to eat lunch quietly while sulking a bit.
Ryeowook accepted the lunchbox and opened it. His name was spelled in yellow rice while the white rice is the background. In that instant, he knew that 1.) Yesung really did plan to spend lunch time with him today. 2.) Yesung meant it when he said he liked Ryeowook because there’s no way someone would do something like this if the person doesn’t like him, right? He just wonders what kind of “like” Yesung was referring to as he also started to eat lunch quietly.
