I just wanted to comment how much I have enjoyed reading this. I have never seen the Sarah Conner TV show, although I was a big fan of the first two terminator movies, and I have only seen the two DW episodes that dealt with the year that wasn't. I was probably not the fan you wrote this for, but it worked surprisingly well anyway. Thanks for sharing.

I'm so sad right now. Derek is dead, and this great story is coming to an end. Still can't help but love Martha's rescue of Derek, I guess she finally came to her own. Derek probably is privately proud of her, and how far she has come.

Yes, there was an element of 'full circle' to Martha's rescue, and I'm sure Derek was always proud of her, in his own way :-)

Oh yes ! I know - I felt the same way about killing off Harry Sullivan in "When Harry Met Martha" - it was the only thing I could do at that point in time, but it was still an "OMG!" moment !

Oh boy, YES ! The eyes see what the brain expects. And the fact that I've posted fics that have been Beta-read by me and someone else, and have still had typos in them is proof positive of that adage ! :D
