This is fun! Well-characterised, good plot that nicely straddles the border between BtVS and DW without breaking either 'verses' rules. And aaargh, cliffhanger!

(One miniscule niggle - and really, it's tiny - in chapter four you have the Doctor exclaiming "Fantastic". To me that's a Nine word, I don't think Ten's ever used it. He appears to be using "Brilliant" instead these days ...)

[g] Glad you like the story! And yes, Ten has used the word fantastic, about twice, in a very self-referential way...and when he's actually feeling pretty awful - and that's kind of how I used it here, he's not actually being sincere about it, unlike nine

Oh, my apologies, I've missed that. But I thought in the context of this fic he was being serious; 'cos blowing up a big snake is pretty fantastic! :)

I stumbled across this fic months and months ago (before I was on LJ, not long after I discovered Doctor Who) and really enjoyed it. I'm so glad to see the next installment!

You've really got the characters spot on; I love the interactions. Tara is so perfect for the Doctor, and I love the little bits of Buffy/Doctor interaction. That feels just right to me--they really get each other, without a lot of fanfare. Very creative use of the Carrionites, too--I like the twist of the crossed timeline.

Looking forward to the next installment!

Wow! What a cliffhanger! This is really good. The chracters all just like they are on tv and the story is quite good at pulling you in.

I have just found this website of your's tonight. I started by reading the Ninth Doctor/Jack O'Neill Stargate crossover, which was bloody fantastic, btw! And then I found this and read it all in one night! Cannot wait for the next installment! You have melded my two favorite shows of all time together seemlessly. Bring on the next chapter! I await it eagerly.
