Go look at your blog/journal. Find the last Fandom-related thing you posted. The characters in that post are now your team-mates in the Zombie Apocalypse. How fucked are you?

Hah! I've totally got this covered! I have Methos, Zoe Washburne and River Tam - with bonus points for Amanda!

You are SO SET for the zombie apocalypse! If I weren't a continent away, I'd be joining up with your team for sure.

I haven't seen The Torchwood, but you are quite right about RTD! The man is a genius, but he needs people around to put on the breaks for him every now and again. (I would add "The End of Time" onto your side-eye list...)

The End of Time, how could I forget that one? I think I'm gonna edit!

The End of Time was a special disappointment for me. I mean, we all loved David Tennant as The Doctor, and I wanted so much more for his last episode! (That ep also kinda ruined The Master for me. He's such a great character, and John Simm plays him so well, but the way RTD dragged him out for Just Add Water Angst was pretty crummy!)

[Nods] I watch episodes like that and ask, is this is the same person who wrote 'Midnight'?

I want to be paid PER MINUTE of the episode before I will agree to watch another thing written by Rusty (and certainly for Torchwood!).

LOL! But there's also Jane Epensen, she of Buffy and Battlestar Galactica, and I found myself not being able to help myself.

No willpower, that's me :-P

Can I be in your gang come the apocalypse? Mind you, I'd have Slayer!River Tam so that's pretty good too :) Annoyingly, if I'd not posted that drabble I'd have Harry Dresden, Jim Ellison, Blair Sandburg and Bob the Skull. So Harry & Jim could go kill zombies while me and Blair saw to the future of the human race XD

I have this icon on standby again *points*, but haven't seen Torchwood yet - am waiting for UK broadcast to see that edit first and then compare to US edit. Fingers crossed he's been reined in this time :)

If you saw mine you know I have a really crap team - Dexter Morgan, Horatio Caine, and Kenny the immortal kid psychopath from Highlander, all of whom will probably not give saving my life a particularly high priority. Caine runs out of bullets in about 20 seconds, and Kenny or Dexter will cheerfully leave me behind or use me as bait.

That or a My Little Pony / Serenity crossover team, which I would actually have more confidence in.

Re Torchwood, and remember Jane Espenson's involvement, I'm betting that at some point we see an exploding dummy baby.

Heh, depending on how I defined "Fandom-related" I'd either have--a cast of my own characters, a mixed bag of characters Michael Fassbender has played, or a team that is Marvel mutants with added Captain Jack Harkness.

I have zero interest in Miracle Day. In fact, from what I've heard about it, I'm not sure I'll be able to muster any interest if they do have Gareth David Lloyd in some kind of surprise cameo. I'm more interested in the radio plays that start Monday. Those are suppose to be set pre-CoE and have something special for Ianto Jones fans in them.

On the last of those - have you ever looked at the body count around Jack Harkness and the Marvel Mutants? NOT necessarily the team you want to be with!

Heh, I am well aware of their body count. I haven't read an X-Book in ten years, but I do know that there was a Marvel Zombies limited series '05-'06. I can't say if Charles Xavier or Alex Summers were involved in the storyline at all, but according to the wiki for it Magneto was "killed and eaten" in it. I'm guessing if there are any survivors from my team it'll be Jack.
