I know, I'm being really, really mean to him, but he kind of deserves it - and I think Damon isn't the kind of character that changes easily, and he tends to get tunnel vision. This was his wake up call - pity he doesn't have the time to digest it slowly.

I knew there would be trouble ahead... *sigh*.
But Damon kinda deserved the cold shoulder and the snide words Elena gave him right there... it's just a little hard to remember that this story is situated in a time, in which Damon still was more of a selfcentered dick than not...xD.
BUT, it's a really great spin on the happenings of the show!
