Thank you! I know what you mean by vampire!Elena, but I found the whole 'what if' aspect too hard to resist trying! I'm glad the character development comes across as 'real', as I prefer to read a more organic type of storytelling, myself, and I'm pretty much walking the line between satisfying my shipper heart and keeping the characters true to themselves! (OC writing drives me batty - character is plot, as they say :-P)

I just read the last chapters, and really, it's amazing how your writing just pulls one in. And GAH, Damon and Elena. Very good job on adding the diary in here and having Elene replay the whole tomb moment where she betrayed Damon.
