I was truly upset about what RTD and Julie Gardner did to Martha in the final. I saw them passing her from man to man to man with, no explanation, as a complete insult

Your story made me feel much better about the union and I only wish RTD and Julie Gardner had taken the time (perhaps during the previous boring Tennant specials) to introduce and pave this new pairing to the fans.

Oh, how I wish! But it wasn't to be, I'm afraid.

I think that Mickey has left his tin dog days well behind him, and we did see glimpses of the 'new' Mickey in the series. Mind you, I always liked the character, and I always thought the Doctor and Rose's treatment of him reflected badly on them and not Mickey himself.
