I *always* check the list of authors for anthologies, and if they're all white men the book stays firmly on the shelf!

Agreed! on the 'mindnarrowing'. Sometimes I can't get over the mentality of people who are still stuck in a loop from about 1950. What a bunch of cracker bs.

Also, a huge waste of trees for printing that thing, as far as I'm concerned. So I'm doubly offended, Mr. Ashley. mmmnnn-yuck. :(

It's definitely a weirdly narrow selection for an anthology! I genuinely can't understand the reasoning behind it.
