That would be cool. I might even share a table with you. Glad to see you're helping champion the idea of (gasp) women on the ordinary panels rather than segregated off onto a special women's panel.

Well I think last time we discussed this, before Bristol, didn't we agree the women's panel thing was a less than ideal transitional measure? I'm thinking if Kev's interested enough to raise the issue on his list, then that's a good sign and hopefully the discussion will raise awareness of the issues. Plus it makes a change from the usual silly bullshit on that particular list.

Absolutely I agreed with you then and I agree with you now (that it's a less than ideal transitional thing). If we suggest with enough lead time for him to invite women named guests, then he'll hopefully do something about it -- the women's panel was a quick-response type measure I think.

Glad to see that Roger L was weighing in on 'our' side too.

Great to have the wineboxes just appear, though; and 80p a glass!

Was the Luther show a repeat of the one from last time Mr Talbot was at Caption, or a new one? I'm guessing from the 'lots of talking about sex' probably the former, which could make me feel a little better about missing it. Still gutted at missing CSM though...

But the winter thing sounds good - might even see if I can persuade Elly to come.
