I know I've hung around in fanfic circles too long when:
a. anons on kink memes so infrequently make me blink. b. I read your AU phone as being 'Alternative Universe' phone. Which is so cool. I want me one of those.
The headphones law is interesting - has there been a spate of cyclists killed or something?

Most of the requests that are just stupid, I scowl at and move on. Requests such as two characters having sex on top of a pile of Holocaust victims is another matter ENTIRELY.

Dammit, now I do too! (Though I'll settle for figuring out how to get a hold of cooler ringtones for this one.)
As for the headphones law... maybe there's been more accidents? And yet, they still allow cars with TVs in the front here! Which is incredibly NOT FAIR in my opinion. The idea is that cyclists with headphones can't hear cars coming.. but we can still SEE them at least. And considering I'm incapable of even walking more than five minutes without headphones, my 30 minute bike ride quickly becomes my own personal hell on earth.
Seriously. I can't begin to get into how ridiculously upset this stupid law makes me!!
(P.S. Speaking of ridiculous, your icon is ridiculously cute! ♥!)
I think it was, but ignored. Apparently, they're going to start enforcing it now? Not sure, but it DOES make me nervous about wearing them while riding along the highway to get to school. And singing in the head SO doesn't work. I need my music to pump me up and inspire me to keep going! Running and biking long distances (hell, even walking a long way) I can only do with music.
Besides, common sense has shit to do with it in this country. If it did, cars wouldn't be allowed to have TVs up front!
(Listening to music is also how I relax and chill before the stress of teaching. I really need that time. T_T)
I fear that the anons on the kink meme are running out of ideas, hence the spate of weird/stupid/disturbing requests. And the emoticons, my god! Enough already! >_

You mean it wasn't already a law?

At least the mods deleted that one really sick request. I mean, there's kink, and then there's, well, that...
