Perhaps.

Okay, I love the prettiness of "Friends Only" banners. And I respect people who chose to make their journals Friends Only.

MY journal is not, and never will be, friends only. I take a great deal of pride in that.

So why can't I have pretty banners too?

But I bet if you asked them, many artists who make banners wouldn't mind adding that "not" in the front for you.

I asked some one the other day. No response yet. I just find the sheer amount of FO banners frustrating next to the practical absence of the others.

*grins* I DO have one, that I made myself. But it's not very good due to my lack of talent. Hence whining that the talented people out there who make icons/banners never seem to make any!

Problem being: My general artistic and specific suckage at making such things.

If you see one you like, you can always ask the creator if they could mod it and take off the "friends only" part. Most would gladly do it.

Actually did just that before making this post. Waiting on a response.

It's just frustrating to see so many pretty things, and hardly ever one I can nab.
