Considering my plans for tomorrow, I feel like I should La Vie Boheme playing (if I had it that is...) Going to try and talk my friends into accompanying me to a wine-tasting, buying a bottle of red, then going to see another friends "play in the park" performance of a 1920's piece of theater ( Read more... )

Aren't new bpals fun? They please my little collector heart. You can probably find more of Strength in the communities or on ebay. I think the "resellers" tend to buy more when they know something is going to be discontinued. I managed to grab a bottle of Danube off ebay for a decent price last week.

I think that I don't like the "three kings" spices-- frankencense, myrrh and the other one, but I do like the cooking spices-- clove, cinnamon, etc.

Have fun with your friends at your play!

New BPALs ARE fun! ..and I blame you entirely for my addiction. ^____^ Seems pretty typical though that the one I think I'll love I'm meh on and the one that I grab on a whim or that's included free I adore. The one person did an awesome decant circle though: I got some absolutely delicious tea and two full freebies. That was really fun! In fact, I wore one of them (Reagan, from the Illyria collection today). It's nice but the vanilla in it is rather strong for me.

I tend to like the incensey-florals, classic-inspired, or the grassy-leathery scents it seems. So far my biggest hits have been Mr. Nancy, Mama-ji, Manhattan, and Kataniya. Priala is nice, but it's just not an ideal scent for me.

As for the play, I had a ball! I got my hair cut spur-of-the-moment before we went there and so far I'm loving it. Then we picked up a nice bottle of red and had a couple of glasses of that after the play. Lots of fun!
