So, my BPAL order shipped on the first of May, leaving me very excited about it's arrival! Also, their "shiny and new" section is updated. There's a couple of new ones in The Salon that I'm interested in: "FOX FIRES ON NEW YEAR’S EVE AT THE GARMENT NETTLE TREE AT OJI" and "MAD MEG", so I may be keeping an eye out for them on the lj resale ( Read more... )

I put mine on the same way you do, but I usually can't smell the stuff on my neck. And I have to sniff at my wrists as time passes because the scents fade on me. Or else I become used to them and can't smell them anymore. I'm always scared I'll put too much on and smother the people around me because I've become desensitized. *^_^*

Neko still hasn't gotten out click and ship for the Mama-ji. She's double checking to make sure it went though.

Also it might be awile before the new scents show up in the trading communities. Most people are waiting for their decant circles which seem to take up to two months.

Do you put the scent on your actual neck or right behind your ear? Because that'll make a difference. I apply mine to that dip right behind the earlobe and even if I can't sniff it like I can my wrists, I'll still catch whiffs of scent from there even after the scent on my wrists has faded.

I'm cool with waiting for the scents to show up as it will give my wallet time to recover from the purchase of the laptop. ^.^ I just wanted to make note of the two that perked my interest. I expect that the Foxfire one will be quite popular as that's a quite well-known artwork with a lot of fans, mainly due to the popularity of kitsune lore.

I rarely put it exactly behind my ear because I tend to break out there so I don't want to be adding oil. I'll put them anywhere from under my jaw down to my cleavage depending on the neckline of my shirt. *^_^*

What is this "cleavage" that you speak of? *is as flat as a boy* *^__^* Seriously. My brother put on some weight in Iraq and the standard joke in the house was that he has bigger breats than I do know. It's quite sad really. In any case, I break out on my forehead occassionally but I haven't had problems with behind my ears. I do know that you're suppossed to apply scent on your pulse points (I like to look for my veins and dab there). I always place the oil there and not on my neck so I'm not sure how much better it works, or if the scent just lingers longer on me.
