OMG THE ANGST

It stings with the fire of a thousand... Roses. I really like the repetition, personally, the imagery. "Star," "burning," "radiant," "shining star," "burnt," "burn." Oh, dear.

It brings back that line from PotW, with the Doctor on the floor staring up at Rose/TARDIS, and panic in his voice. "You've got the entire vortex runing through your head. You're gonna burn." To which Rose, dear, sweet Rose, simply responds "I want you safe. My Doctor. Protected from the false god."

Like a star, reaching the height of its glory and having no where else to go.

I love that line.
