i really enjoyed the unusualness of this; how you translated their real life qualities into mutations suited to the verse, their unwavering zeal, the hint at their human, earth-bound fears.

Jinki submits to Taemin’s gentle demands to be touched, and is both fascinated and frightened as Taemin’s climax has him phasing completely out of Jinki’s sight for a brief moment.
this moment between them is so touching, a perfect mixture of ethereal and bittersweet ♥

I'm so glad you liked this! It's completely different from anything I've attempted before. I never pictured myself writing them as anything but "SHINee," much less AU.

The inspriation was Susan's illness, and recalling how when I was "morning" sick I just had to live in my head and shut everything else out. That got me thinking about transcending the flesh...and this happened. I don't have any plans to continue, unless I shampoo out another part of the story. The last line was just meant to be Taemin's gleeful welcome to the "other side."
