time again for sugar high friday - with puff pastry this time!

i was pretty excited about this one, i rarely have occasion to use puff pastry, though i love sweets made with it. and i was excited to have an excuse to actually make the pastry! i've never been able to justify that before! but my calendar got in the way.

Rule of thumb in baking: there can never be too much filling! Messy is no excuse to not take a picture, either! TRUST ME. I'd love to see a pic still...if there are any left that is!
I made palmiers as well and mine were all gloppy from a tad too much corn syrup on top while baking but oh were they ever delicious!
