for christmas i got a box of pears from a company i deal with. last year they sent a tin of candied pecans. that's my total history of corporate swag, right there. i suspect that the pears mean i've been upgraded in some database somewhere.

when I used to work for yon insurance agency in downtown ann arbor, the head cheese used to give us boxes of harry & david pears as well--plus a bonus comisserate with our current salary (which, in my case, meant that I could buy a few CDs). Otherwise, free drinks at the company xmas party was the bonus.

can't look down on free drinks.

food stuffs (non perishable food stuffs that is) are at the top of the regiftable items chain. there's somebody out there who will always dig food.

also - sugar'ed pecans are the best w/ coffee.
