mom in hospital

My mom had a minor heart attack yesterday afternoon/evening. She stuck it out at work for a while since random arm pain is just kind of confusing, but got her sister to take her to the hospital in the evening. She still needs a cardiac cath and they might install a stent, but it looks like the incident was minor and she shouldn't have lost too

Whew. I'm very glad this was minor. But heavens, neither of you needed this new stress! Hope things stay peaceful for a long long while.

The good news is that her arteries are in fantastic shape. The doctors think it was stress cardiomyopathy, and she should recover completely within a few months. And she says that now her stress is over and things are fine, there's nothing I can do to help.

Oh good, relative to having the attack in the first place, I guess, which is a hell of a thing. I hope she has success managing her stress (for her overall, as well as for her heart).

Not you, but someone? The stress may be over, but that was one hell of an aftershock. The stress of stress.
