We passed it. Solidly. Same-sex marriage is a go in Washington State, by popular vote.

So fucking proud right now.

I had to read this here, because the regular news is all "Maryland and Maine, Maryland and Maine!" I guess they like alliteration.

Go Washington State!

I was so mortified that the other three states where marriage equality was an issue, people were voting for it, whereas in Minnesota we had to beat back an evil constitutional amendment that would have restricted marriage to stupid heteronormative standards. Bah.

We still have a lot of ballots to count, and our margin isn't that wide, but as a WA voter of old I am pretty darned sure that we passed it.

We used to have one of those amendments. *smug*
