You have my sincerest sympathies, especially on the skin around the nose bit. Nothing like having it so sensitive that it starts to crack and bleed when you cough / sneeze due to the same cold that put you in that situation.
All obvious jokes aside, vaseline & neosporin (not at the same time) will do wonders for the said area's healing and pain.

Yikes! I'm so sorry to hear that all of you are sick. As if it's not miserable enough to have people you care about sick, it sucks even more to be too sick to feel up to caring for them the way you want to, as well.

My mom has sleep apnea. I think she had a special pillow that the doctor told her to get that is supposed to help. I'll have to ask her about that for you. (The pillow wasn't very comfortable, though, just to warn ya.)

Do you ever hang out with Jessie anymore? Cuz we all should!

Yuck, dude. Just yuck.

Something has been going around EVERYWHERE. It's scary. I've been fighting something for three weeks now. Every time I think I have it on the outs, something acts up again. I resort to Dayquil, Sudafed (the good stuff that they make you sign waivers for, because they want to make sure they can track you if you start a meth lab), and a Vicks humidifier that spews vapo-steam.

To Xarm you listen, though. The vasiline, save you it can! What about sleeping in different positions? I'm somewhat sleep apnea illiterate. We've had patients with CPAP machines at my work. I'm sorry, man! To add a bit of tasteless humor, though, you could make an easy Psycho Mantis for Halloween if you simply don't eat until then. Defeats the self preservation bit, though.

Anyways, I hope better health comes your way, and to everyone else in your house, too! Warm weather is ahead at least, so hopefully it will be a touch easier on everyone's respiratory systems.
