I'm always suspicious about how many 'rollover' jackpots they have.

Okay, fair enough someone might not get all six right numbers every week, but then again, I imagine a week's interest on nine million quid ain't to be sniffed at...

The bit that got me with this news is that it the fine is paid with tv licence payers fees:(

One of the ways these big prize competitions are set up is that the organisers take out insurance against anyone winning the top prize. Given that actuaries are pretty much on the ball, the odds against winning are usually substantial.

In the US, they call the lottery 'the stupidity tax'
