Back to the Future II

So... If things in the future instantaniously changed around Jennifer and Einstein, when The Almanac was burned.. why didn't things in the future instantaniously change when old Biff gave himself the Almanac in the past? He was able to go back to the original future reality and bring back the DeLorean?

Whew, this can get confusing... Here's my 2 cents..

Jennifer and Einstien had an alternate 1985 created when Biff went back in time, so theoretically the original 1985 still exsisted in some form - but when Doc and Marty go back to 85, they can't go back to their 1985 because of what Biff did. If they were to go back to the future, it would be an offshoot of the Alternate 1985. My theory is that they were sort of stuck in a frozen future that no longer really exsisted, because a new future was created from Biff - yet it wouldn't just automatically change, it would create a different future then what Marty and Doc were currently in.....or maybe it had to do with the fact that they had traveled to the future, and the future is never set, and the future that they went to was created out of events that led up to that point in time in 1985.. So it was the future, but not neccessarily a "true" future.. But it's as true as you can get.. Wow, time travel is confusing..

Forget what I said.. I just remembered that there is a deleted scene that explains this.. When Biff comes back to the future after seeing young Biff, he starts clutching his chest, like he's having a heart attack. The extended version of that shows him fading out of history, because he no longer lives that long. I dunno if that helps at all..

I remember seeing that deleted scene.. i love those.. but anyway.. So you are saying, you have to be in your own "present time" for things to change.. I mean, wouldn't Biff have faded out instantly after he gave himself the almanac in 1955?.. or maybe.. After he left 1955 to go back to 2015, shouldn't he have gone to the alternate 2015, instead of arriving in the "original future?" causing a paradox, because Marty and Doc couldn't get back into the past to stop him, because it had already changed?.. I think I'm looking too much into things about this movie.. sorry..

Oh.. and I forgot.. When Marty goes back to 1955 in BttF 1, when he starts messing with the past, in the picture of his siblings, they start to fade away. and then he starts to fade away. Shouldn't Biff have faded away in 1955, right at the moment in time when he changed things?
