Val and I just sat down and listened to the new Ether Family record together on the hi-fi upstairs. I was dreading this, because it is usually a big disappointment for me. I'll have things to where I think they are perfect in the studio, but it just won't translate to other systems the way I want it to. However, this time I was shocked almost ( Read more... )

congratulations! the self-critique process can be the hardest I know. I do that to myself with writing, organizing, everything. I am a control freak so I guess that's different but still...I am so happy for you!

Oh, everyone pretty much considers me a terrible control freak too at this point, and I guess it is true. But mainly I just want things to be "right" and I'm not adverse to putting a ton of my own time and resources into something to make it "right". :)
