So I went out with Ma today so that she could look for a new job. This entailed getting up early, combing my hair and going out in the cold. (Three things I am not a fan of) I just tag along for the appearance of being interested in new jobs. I like what I do just fine. I work, I get paid, and I don't have to leave the house. I don't even know what happened. One minutes I was talking about my old job (turns out he worked for the same company) and talking about the old mall (now a Wal-Mart) and the old KMart (now a Lowe's) and the next thing I know I'm shaking his hand and agreeing to be up some time next week at 7AM. What part of this story is the part where it all fell apart? Is it wrong that I am already trying to come up with an escape plan? On second thought, don't answer that.

Jobs suck, man. You should avoid them at ALL COSTS.

Wow. I think my inner Hyde just broke through. That's never happened before. (I suppose it's better than my inner Cartman breaking through.)

Never repress your inner Hyde, never, ever, ever! (Your inner Cartman? Perhaps. Not much good can come of letting that out too often.) I left the "interview" like "Wait! This is all wrong! This is not how it was supposed to go!" It was like a scene out of a bad movie. Five minutes after I shook the dude's hand, I was already plotting my escape. I don't start 'til next week and I am already like "This is the worst thing ever! I need to be out of there by the summer!" The only good thing that can come of this is health insurance, and perhaps being able to look forward to a tax refund check next year, but I've done alright without those so far, right? This fails.
