Leave me alone, grad school papers! I'm not even a student!!

Dec 13, 2007 02:00

Then again, perhaps it is only fitting that grad school-related work got in the way as I was trying to finish this one and get it posted. Note to grad school students: your friends do not want to read your papers. Especially not if it is due in 5 hours and you are freaked out because you just read the assignment and are worried that you did not ( Read more... )

Oh man! Not a coma!! What is the cure for Happy Exclamation Point Overdose?! Mangela cures Mangela, but I don't know what cures this! Oh man, I hope it's Mattrelli! Oh, what if it's Warkman?!
Yes, closed-eye Mo (in a ~*holiday sweater*~) is my favorite! You know you can never get that many people together in a picture without someone being all, "Oh no! My eyes were closed!" And really, who better to be that guy?

You know what the cure for Happy Exclamation Point Overdose is! Remember my Happy Exclamation Point Embargo? The cure is, unfortunately, Maylar. But you don't have to draw Maylar...I recovered on my own. No really! You don't!

Matrelli and Warkman are both awesome and would therefore induce more Happy Exclamation Points.

You ever notice in Forrest Gump that Forrest always has his eyes closed in pictures? Yeah. *is not comparing Mo to Forrest Gump*

Poor Forrest, I mean Mohinder. The humiliation never ends for him, does it? So, who's his Lieutenant Dan? Oh man, is it HRG? It's gotta be HRG!
Also, and not Gump-related, something in this comment has given me an idea! A wonderful, wonderful idea! ::makes note:: I must get right on this! I can't say much more.. but you will know it when you see it!

OH MY GOOD, GOODNESS GRACIOUS!

I AM SO VERY PLEASED THAT I WILL NOT ONLY STEAL SQUERBIE'S LOVE OF THE CAPS, I WILL ALSO USE HER ICON!!!

But seriously, I am in love with it. It's got everything! Muggles, the Haitian, Elle…

Okay, so it also has West, but this is probably unavoidable in the Bennet household. Also, I don't know why Mohinder is there, but I like that he is the one who has had too much to drink and has fallen asleep for the picture! He is like the random drunk uncle that every family has and who, one day, will be me.

And Bob! What are you doing Bob? We were going to use this as our Christmas card, but you have gone and ruined it all. Silly Bob.

I much prefer this interpretation to "no school." Besides, I am about 11 and a half hours from that reality and with only two and a half pages more to write, so I will experience that sensation soon enough!

And now, to end this comment as I began it: with Squerian glee!

TRALALALALALALA!

Yes! I am glad you approve!
I mean, "extended family" was a built-in win! I was like "Oh man! This one will give me the chance to combine like 67 ridiculous things into one picture! Who can I cram in there?!" Thus random West, mysterious Haitian, Elle (and Slusho!) and Bob (partaking in the time-honored tradition of "messing up" a "perfectly good" picture with ~*bunny ears*~. Advantage, Bishop!) As soon as I saw it, I knew that it would be a fun one! So, thanks for that!
My favorite thing that, sadly, is not visible, is that Mohinder and Muggles are wearing the same sweater! This was his first failure. His second was being the "But, my eyes were closed!" guy. It had to be somebody. It's always somebody. (It could have been Lyle, but I'd never to that to my #2 Bennet.) Now I am imagining Drunk Holiday Party Mohinder, and it is making me laugh. Oh man... this may be able to be combined with the Idea resol inspired! Yes! I will get right to work on that... eventually, of course.
And good luck with that paper. Obviously this is the ( ... )

Oh man, it took me a LONG while to realized that the Hatian was not D.L. I was trying figure out how D.L fell under "extended family" and all that...*facepalm*

But lovely, lovely scene XD

Oh man... I totally forgot about DL and that he could easily be mistaken for The Haitian. But, DL is dead, so he'd be like the most awkward holiday guest ever. (This is normally where a "Weekend at Bernie's" joke goes. But I have learned my lesson with that one, so I will pass on it... this time!) Also, thanks!
