When we are naive, innocent, and young, we don't appreciate it, because that is all we know. I'd rather have the option of losing innocence and making choices for myself rather than being innocent by default. The choices we make will take part in defining who we are, and that is what life is all about. Although the majority of us were happier when we were younger, I feel more satisfied knowing that I'm not as sheltered as I once was. Although I believe no one in this town has really lost their innocence quite yet. I think some of us will never truly lose our innocence.

yeah.. so i still dont no.. i have this like obsession with innocence ever since i read catcher.. its like i want it soo much now that i no i dont have it.. but lanz is right.. when we are innocent.. we dont appreciate it.. i guess thats another meaning of youth is wasted on the young.. i would rather be innocent.. but no how good i have it.. but to no how good i have it, id have to have lost my innocence.. so i want it BOTH ways.. lol... thats soo a q way of thinking..
